Dreary Weather....

Hi Guys,

So London Fashion Week is upon us and although I wasn't lucky enough to be invited to any shows, I've found myself addicted to finding out what everyone is wearing.  Sometimes I wonder how fashion bloggers afford to live with the amount of amazing outfits they have, but I'm not complaining as I'm using every picture as my fashion-spiration!

I hope you're all having a great week and are trying to make the most of this horrendous weather and never ending rainclouds as am I.  On the bright side I'm having a four day week this week at work as I'll be heading to London Fashion Weekend on Friday with my friend Poppy. The bad bit....it's nearly Tuesday and I have absolutely no idea what to wear - HELP!!

So a few weekends ago me and my boyfriend went to see John Newman at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London as one of Jamie's Christmas presents and as I'm so behind with posting I wanted to let you all know how actually amazing he is.

We finished work early and headed off down to London on the train - which by the way was absolutely FREEZING! Once we got there and managed the fairly long walk to the Empire itself, we got some drinks from the bar and the whole place was buzzing.
Then on came the supporting acts - Laurel, who reminded me of Diana Vickers and LOLO, a fairly shouty group from New York. Both were equally as good as the other, but nothing compared to the Newman himself.

Finally... on came the act everyone was waiting for and Tribute, one of my favourite songs from the album (Tribute)
There he was in all his glory, with his fitted black suit with gold patterned arms, the loafers with socks, the slicked back hair, the gold rings - HE LOOKED THE PART! I'd never really thought he was anything special before that night, but as he played on my heart was ever so slightly melting :) ....not that Jim knew anything of the sort!

Sadly, it was all over so quickly and we had to rush off to the train station before missing the last train back to Essex. Not before I managed to grab a set list from the security guard who was helping to clear the stage.  Luckily we managed to catch the last train and whilst waiting for it to leave the station we decided to take some selfies, of which we had some volunteers who were more than willing to join us!

If you've not really heard of John Newman before or have, but didn't rate him - I'd seriously ask you to reconsider and maybe give his album a little listen on Itunes...

Hope you like the photos from the night!

Thanks & Freckles,
